Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use starworldd.com or buy from STARWORLD. "We", "us" and "our" mean STARWORLD. "You" means the customer. By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Refund policy, our Shipping policy and our Privacy policy.

1. Using the store

To place an order you must be legally able to enter into a contract under Egyptian law, or have permission from a parent or guardian. The details you give us (name, phone number, address, email) must be correct, because we use them to confirm and deliver your order.

2. Orders

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We may call or message you on the phone number you gave us to confirm it. We can cancel an order if we cannot reach you to confirm it, if the item is out of stock, if the price or product information was clearly wrong, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel, we will tell you and refund anything you have already paid within 7 days.

You can ask to change your order within 7 working days of placing it by emailing us. If it has already been handed to the courier, we will handle the change as an exchange or return under our Refund policy.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Egyptian pounds (LE). Delivery fees are shown at checkout before you place your order. We accept:

Cash on delivery: you pay the courier when your order arrives.
InstaPay: your order is confirmed once we have received your transfer.

The price you pay is the price shown when you placed the order.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates; see our Shipping policy. The order is your responsibility once it has been delivered to you. Until then, if it is lost or damaged on the way, that is our responsibility, and we will send a replacement or refund you.

5. Returns, exchanges and refunds

You can return or exchange items as described in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

6. Our products

We try to show our products accurately. Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen. If an item you receive is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, you have the rights set out in our Refund policy.

7. Intellectual property

The STARWORLD name, logo, designs, photos and text on this site belong to STARWORLD. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the store for anything unlawful, to place fake orders, to give false information, to interfere with the site's security, or to copy or scrape its content in bulk.

9. Shopping assistants and AI agents

You may use an AI shopping assistant or agent to browse or buy on your behalf, as long as it identifies itself as an agent and acts on your real instructions. You are responsible for orders placed by an agent acting for you. We may limit agents that do not identify themselves or that overload the site.

10. Third-party services

We use other companies to run the store, such as Shopify (the store platform), delivery couriers, InstaPay and our returns portal. Their own terms may also apply when you use them.

11. Relationship with Shopify

STARWORLD is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the store to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with STARWORLD. By using the store, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and STARWORLD, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with STARWORLD.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.

13. Liability

As far as Egyptian law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This does not limit any right you have that cannot be limited under Egyptian law, including your rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you placed your order applies to that order.

15. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction. If we cannot resolve a problem with you, you may also contact Egypt's Consumer Protection Agency.
