Privacy Policy

This policy explains how STARWORLD ("we") collects and uses your personal data when you visit starworldd.com or buy from us, and your rights under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

1. Who is responsible for your data

STARWORLD, an online clothing store in Egypt. Contact: star.worlddd.69@gmail.com

2. What we collect

Order details: your name, phone number, email, delivery address, the items you buy and the amount paid.
Payment details: for InstaPay, the transfer confirmation you send us. We never see or store card numbers or bank passwords.
Messages: what you send us by email, the contact form, WhatsApp or the returns portal.
Marketing sign-up: your email, only if you choose to subscribe.
Device and browsing data: such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies by our store platform.

3. Why we use it

To process, confirm and deliver your order (needed to fulfil our contract with you).
To handle returns, exchanges, refunds and customer service.
To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping sales records.
To send you marketing emails, only if you have agreed.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: Shopify (our store platform), our delivery couriers, our returns portal (QuickReturns), our messaging providers, and public authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data stored outside Egypt

Our store platform, Shopify, may store and process data on servers outside Egypt. We use providers that apply appropriate security and data protection safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as Egyptian tax and commercial laws require. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Under Law No. 151 of 2020 you have the right to: know what data we hold about you and get a copy; correct it; ask us to delete it; withdraw your consent at any time; and object to its use for marketing. To use any of these rights, email star.worlddd.69@gmail.com. We will reply as soon as possible. You can also complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.

8. Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you subscribe or tick the marketing box at checkout. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us by email to stop.

9. Cookies

We use cookies needed for the cart, checkout and security, and cookies that help us understand how the store is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some store features may then stop working.
